The Goal

This client wanted a logo that would excite and inspire the kids in the band.

The Challenge

Designing between a simple and intricate logo. In the research that I did, I found most band logos are very intricate. I originally made an intricate one. This is a revised and simplified version of the logo.

It incorporates the claws of the bear, (the school mascot) but remains aloof enough that it can be used for multiple schools in the district.

The Kamiah Kubs palette: columns of maroon, black and white, each with lighter and darker tints.

The Color Palette

The color palette is limited for the school, consisting of black, white, and a dark maroon.

I created a logo that works with the limited colors, whether it is a single color or using the palette.
